Services and Individual Assistance Programs
The League is the only Postmaster organization to include
legal services as part of its regular monthly membership dues. The
League is the nation's premier advocate for protecting the jobs and
rights of Postmasters and other postal personnel.

Adverse Action Legal Services Benefit offers representation
by an attorney before the U. S. Merit Systems Protection Board and
the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit at significantly
discounted rates. (970-530-2121) Available to League members after
three months of continuous membership. Three-month eligibility period
waived for new postmasters who join the League within 30 days of appointment.
Security Legal Services and Advise Action Legal Services are
provided by the firm of John P. DiFalco and Associates, P.C.

Individual Assistance Program offers a 24-hour Helpline to
provide support and guidance to help League members and their
families cope with a wide range of medical, behavioral, psychological
and addiction issues. This program is provided by the League's Improved
Managers Process (.pdf document)
and Awareness Unlimited in conjunction with the Postal Service
Employee Assistance Program. Confidential assistance is available by
calling 800-524-4771.
